The curator of the Shigaraki Museum of Ceramic Art in Japan, invited me to be in an exhibtion of contemporary figurative ceramics from around the world. They chose three of my larger than life size busts for the show called, "Human Form in Clay - the Minds Eye", March 18th, 2006 - Mid June 2006 at the Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art, Japan, Shiga Prefectural Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park. The exhibition includes Robert Arneson, Viola Frey, Robert Brady, Richard Shaw, Patti Warashina, Peter Vandenberge, Mark Burns, Akio Takamori, Paul Day, Sarah Scampton, Aldo Rontini, Gertraud Mohwald, Leiko Ikemura, Schrammel Imre, Maria Geszler, Arina Ailincal, Philippe Barde, Ki-joo Lee, Mikang Lim, Ting Ju Shao, Shin Fujihira, Mokichi Ohtsuka, Takashi Hinoda. The show will travel to other museums in Japan and there is a large catalog available. The next museum that will have it will be the Hyogo Museum beginning in Novebemer 2006.
